Every Participant that registers a distance towards the charity will receive a unique finishers medal. Early Bird entrants will be entered into a free draw with a mags notice to 1st Prize of a 2023 bianchi sprint (new model) ROAD BIKE. Your entry will also offer you the chance of winning other prizes as the event unfolds.
THE CHALLENGE IS OPEN TO PARTICIPANTS OF ALL LEVELS - FROM TOTAL BEGINNER TO EXPERIENCED CYCLISTS. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER DISTANCE YOU WANT, WHEN YOU WHERE YOU WANT. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
AFTER REGISTRATION YOU CAN YOU WILL RECEIVE A CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND IN IT YOU WILL SEE A LINK TO THE "DONATE" PAGE, IF YOU WISH TO SHARE THIS WITH YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS - ALL FUNDS COLLECTED WILL GO TO THE LITTLE BLUE HEROES.
YOUR REGISTARTION FEE WILL HELP FUND THE DAY TO DAY RUNNING OF THIS CHARITYY AND ASSIST THE ORGANISATION PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO ITS USERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
THIS YEAR WE WILL CONTINUE WITH PHOTO COMPETITION. WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO SUBMIT A PHOTOGRAPH FROM YOUR CYCLE AND IT WILL BE ENTERED INTO A COMPETITON. THE WINNER AND WINNER PHOTOGRAPH WILL BE SELECTED BY A SPORTS PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER AND THE WINNER WILL BE NOTIFED ON COMPLETION OF THE CHALLENGE.
Once you have registered and the challenge opens on the 17th of September 2022, you will be able upload you distances over the 8 days.
You can add more than one distance per day if you wish. As you do, that distance will be added to all the others distances that have been contributed and will push you up the leaderboard.
Distances will be updated by 8pm each day of the cycle. The leader board and team totals will appear on the leaderboard page.
You will require someway of recording your distance, such as a GPS watch, bike computer, etc.
Once you have completed a cycle you will need to take a photo of it and and upload through the Distance Page. You will be asked to enter the date and the distance and upload the photo as evidence. This distance will appear beside your name on the leaderboard.
